School didn't
teach you this. It's not too late.

Most of us were never shown how money actually works. FirstInvest is a plain-English starting point for India's first-time investors — educational reads on stocks, mutual funds and SIPs.

3 free analyses every month No credit card Educational only · Not investment advice
Fetching live market data…
Twelve years of school, three years of college, a job that pays your rent — and not one lesson on how to grow what you earn. The system was never built for you. So we built one that is.
— FirstInvest is for everyone the textbooks forgot.
Your journey

Start here.

Five steps to your first investment, explained in plain English.

  1. i

    Get your PAN

Your unique tax ID. SEBI requires it before you can open a Demat account. Applying online usually takes a few working days.

Typically 3–7 working days · Form 49A online via the income tax portal.

    Read the PAN guide →
  2. ii

    Open a bank account

The home base for everything that comes next. Any SEBI-recognised Indian bank works. Here's what to look for so you don't pay for things you don't need.

Salary or savings — both fine · Zero-balance options exist · No third-party add-ons needed for investing.

    What to look for →
  3. iii

    Set up your Demat account

Where your stocks and mutual funds are held. Demat accounts are opened with a SEBI-registered broker — our partner ACE Partners can introduce you to one.

    PAN + Aadhaar + a cancelled cheque · Usually live in 2–4 working days · One-time eKYC.

    How a Demat works →
  4. iv

    Read before you act

Before any first investment, use our educational analyser to read about the company or fund in plain English. The tools explain context — they do not make recommendations.

3 free analyses per tool, every month · No card · Signals are educational labels, not buy/sell calls.

  5. v

    Keep learning

Portfolio tracker, daily spotlight, weekly insights, mutual fund analyser. Educational tools you can return to as your understanding grows. There's no rush.

40+ Learn pages · 25+ stock reads · One Stock Spotlight every weekday morning.

Investment-related services are offered by ACE Partners — SEBI Research Analyst registration INH000013280, AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor. FirstInvest.ai is an educational platform and is not itself SEBI-registered.

When you're ready

Quiet tools, honestly built.

Each tool fetches live NSE / BSE data and explains it in plain English. All four are educational — none of them tell you to buy or sell.

Quiet voices

From early first-timers.

I had a salary for six years and not one rupee invested. FirstInvest was the first thing that didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing.
